The Basics
Q. How does Almari Pret work?
A. Borrow - Wear - Return - Choose an outfit to borrow for either 5 days or 10 days and we'll ship it altered to fit you perfectly. - Look fabulous at your event - Return it back with the free shipping label provided and we take care of the rest
Q. What is a back-up blouse?
A. A back-up size is the second size we let you rent FOR FREE if available.
Q. Can I alter something I’ve borrowed?
A. Yes, you can ONLY hand sew items to help you fit better.
Q. What if I accidentally stain and/or damage the outfit?
A. Don’t worry! We understand that some wear and tear may be inevitable and beyond your control. Our dry cleaner can take care of most minor damage. So please don’t try to clean the item on your own before shipping it back to us. If there is significant destruction like the outfit is torn apart at all the seams, fire damage, theft, your credit card will be charged immediately for the full retail price of the outfit. There are no payment plans.
Q. Do you ship internationally?
A. At this time we only ship rental orders within the U.S., including Hawaii and Alaska. Rental orders must also be returned from within the U.S. You are are buying an outfit we can ship internationally, but shipping cost can vary and will be confirmed with an email confirmation.
Q. Will the dress arrive wrinkle free?
A. We will try our best to delivery the dress wrinkle-free and steamed. If you get the outfit with creases and wrinkles please try steaming the outfit on low heat.
Preparing for Your Rental
Q. When will my order arrive?
A. Deliveries arrive on weekdays and Saturday between 8am and 8pm.
Q. When should I make my reservation? As soon as you know you need it, even if it's months in advance!! Ideally, you should make your reservation at least three weeks in advance of your event to guarantee you get your first choice. We recommend reserving your outfit to be delivered 1-2 days before your event.
Q. Will I be able to send the shipment to a hotel or another address?
A. Sure! If you're shipping to a hotel, please put the hotel name in the company field and the reservation guest in the attention field. Please make sure the hotel concierge is expecting your delivery.
Q. Is signature required for delivery?
A. Outside of major cities: No signature required! In major cities: Customers are required to sign for deliveries, so address them accordingly. Mailrooms, front desks, and concierges are able to sign on your behalf.
Q. What if the renter before me doesn't return the outfit or accessory and I am not able to get the outfit of my choice?
A. Should this situation arise, we will personally notify you in advance, and assist you with alternative options, at the borrowing price you have already paid for.
Q. Do you ship to a P.O. Box?
A. We do not ship to a P.O. Box, so please enter a valid shipping address.

Q. What if the outfit I rent doesn't fit?
A. If your outfit doesn't fit, contact us immediately upon receiving your order and be sure to postmark the unworn outfits within 24 hours. Once we receive your outfits, we will issue a merchandise credit less the cost of shipping. We only issue merchandise credits for fit in the following scenarios: 1) You reserve only one outfit and it does not fit 2) You reserve more than one outfit and none of them fit. If any of the outfits in your order fit, we do consider this a successful rental. We do not issue partial credits.
Q. What if I want to keep the outfit and/or accessory that I rented?
A. We offer our members the ability to buy and borrow from our online boutique. However, you cannot buy an outfit and/or accessory that you have currently rented and is in your possession. You must return the item at your rental end date and once the item is back on the site, you are welcome to purchase the product if available for purchase. We want to ensure that the product is available to the next customer that may have ordered the same product for renting.
